Wind turbine maintenance work using rope access

In collaboration with cleaning company Vlietstra, A.T.I. Abseiltechnieken carried out cleaning work on several wind turbines in Zeeland and Belgium.
With wind turbines, many locations are difficult to reach for maintenance work, making the use of abseil techniques (rope access) a very good solution. Space is very limited inside the mast and outside it is often very high, making the use of large platforms or cranes very inefficient and costly. By using abseiling techniques, also known as rope access, we can carry out maintenance work quickly and efficiently, safely and with minimum inconvenience to the surroundings.
