Maintenance at Abe Lenstra Stadium
Last week, we replaced the hoisting system in the Abe Lenstra Stadium for our client SC Heerenveen. We regularly carry out work in various football stadiums. Maintenance work, such as in the roof and above the stands, is difficult or impossible to reach using traditional aerial work methods. We offer a safe alternative with our rope access techniques. The steel structure of the football stadium is excellent for our anchor points so that our rope access specialists can climb to the right location and perform maintenance work at height.
Additional benefits rope access / abseiling techniques
Time savings
The required abseiling materials and tools are often easy to take to the work site. Once on site, ropes can be installed at the appropriate anchor points and our rope access techniques allow us to quickly position ourselves at the desired location. Compared to erecting and dismantling scaffolding or deploying a crane, this is a huge time saver.
No fixed installation needed
When working at height, a fixed installation is often thought of and recommended for frequent maintenance. Apart from the purchase of an entire installation, it also needs to be maintained and inspected. Employees may have to be trained to operate the system. However, when maintenance is infrequent or rare, working with rope access techniques is an excellent alternative. The cost of purchase and inspection is a huge saving, and with the deployment of rope access abseiling techniques, costs are only charged for the actual maintenance work.
