Painting at height in Amsterdam

We painted some window frames in Amsterdam for our client Van Dalen Schilderwerken. When people think of our work, they often think only of great heights. However, it is often more difficult to reach than height for which we offer solutions. For example, there are numerous situations in large cities where installing scaffolding or aerial work platforms is difficult or impossible. Our abseiling techniques then provide a safe solution.

Additional advantages of rope access / abseiling techniques

No nuisance for third parties and surroundings
Working with rope access techniques requires no additional space to carry out the work. Only suitable (temporary) anchor points above the site are needed to carry out the work. There is therefore no need to install a crane or build scaffolding, saving huge amounts of inconvenience to third parties and the surrounding area. That means cordoning off a very limited area instead of a whole road or no noise nuisance from large cranes or aerial platforms.

No fixed equipment needed
For working at height, a fixed installation is often thought of and recommended for frequent maintenance. Apart from the purchase of an entire system, it also needs to be maintained and inspected. Employees may have to be trained to operate the system. However, when maintenance is infrequent or rare, working with rope access techniques is an excellent alternative. The cost of purchase and inspection is a huge saving, and with the deployment of rope access abseiling techniques, costs are only charged for the actual maintenance work.
