Replacing flue pipes in shafts in a apartment complex

On behalf of VvE Poortgebouw Landgoed Driessen and installation consultancy Seegers and de Bruin, ATI Abseiltechnieken replaced flue gas ducts in 2 shafts. The old installation in the apartment complex was no longer sound and needed replacing. Carrying out maintenance work in confined spaces such as in shafts usually brings additional challenges. It is difficult to reach, the working space is limited and then, of course, it has to be carried out safely. Our abseiling techniques, also known as rope access, provide the right solution. We specialise in maintenance work in confined spaces. After installing a system for the anchor points above the openings of the shafts, our rope access technicians were able to position themselves in the shafts and carry out the installation work.
