Painting Jesse Mariakerk Delft using Abseiltechnieken
In the last quarter of last year, we were commissioned by De Jongh Schildersbedrijf to carry out a beautiful paint job. The Jesse Maria Church is a beautiful old inner-city church in the centre of Delft. The church needed repainting, but because of the church’s location in the city centre, among other things, many of the dormers and turrets were difficult to reach using traditional elevation methods. To perform the painting work using our industrial abseiling techniques, there were plenty of anchor points at the church and our rope access specialists were able to position themselves at all locations. Around 20 dormers and one turret were painted by the painters of ATI Abseiltechnieken.
Applying industrial abseiling techniques for painting work at height, such as on churches or other listed buildings, is an extremely safe and efficient procedure. Our rope access painters are specialised and have extensive experience in all aspects of painting at height.
Additional benefits: painting in difficult-to-reach locations using Rope Access
- Safety Safety always comes first, especially when painting at great heights or in hard-to-reach places using Rope Access. This work is strictly carried out by our IRATA- and VCA-certified staff, who are trained in the latest safety protocols and have extensive experience. Safety measures include the use of double rope systems, harnesses, carabiners and other climbing tools, which we use to minimise risks.
- Access to hard-to-reach areas In buildings with complex architecture, such as monuments, industrial facilities or historical buildings, access is often limited. Rope Access provides an efficient solution to carry out painting work at height and other hard-to-reach locations, where the use of scaffolding or aerial work platforms is not feasible. Our rope access techniques enable painting work to be carried out quickly and accurately, even in the most challenging places.
