Last summer, we carried out maintenance work on a steel structure at height at our client Eneco Bio Golden Raand in Delfzijl. This Biomass power plant is one of the largest in the Benelux countries. It converts wood chips from waste wood into green electricity and produces sustainable energy for 120,000 households. Carrying out maintenance work on the high steel structure at the plant was very difficult or impossible using scaffolding or aerial work platforms. By using our industrial abseiling techniques, also known as rope access, the maintenance could still be carried out safely and efficiently.
