Confined space maintenance using abseiling techniques

For a client in the process industry, we carried out maintenance work in a confined space using our abseiling techniques. We first cleaned the silo and fitted it with new angle plates. Industrial abseiling techniques, also known as rope access, are very suitable for maintenance work in an industrial environment. There are often many difficult-to-reach locations both in height and in confined spaces, but an industrial environment also offers ample opportunities for anchor points for our ropes. For example, a steel construction in a factory is often an excellent anchor point. Rope protection is also an essential aspect of safe installation.
